PLACEHOLDER TEXT. This document is a structural draft for NurseKonekt. Qualified counsel will supply final wording before production use.

1. Parties

These Standard Shift Terms are the contract between the nurse and the facility for a booked shift.

NurseKonekt is not a party to this contract. NurseKonekt provides the technology used to form it.

2. Rate

The hourly rate is the rate shown on the shift posting when the nurse confirms the booking. The nurse receives 100% of that agreed rate from the facility. NurseKonekt does not deduct from it.

3. Hours

Scheduled hours are the posted start and end times. After the shift, the facility may confirm actual hours worked and the amount owed. That confirmation is evidence of the work, not attendance clocked by NurseKonekt.

4. Payment window

The facility pays the nurse directly. Standard payment is due within seven days after the booking is completed.

A facility with fewer than two completed clean payment cycles pays on the same day as completion (within 24 hours), as shown on the platform.

5. Cancellation

PLACEHOLDER — cancellation rules in the product today: a facility may cancel an unbooked shift any time before start and must give a reason. A facility may cancel a booked shift any time before start with a reason. Twenty-four hours or more before start: no compensation. Under 24 hours: the facility owes the booked nurse(s) configurable compensation (default 20% of the estimated wage) and a late-cancellation mark is recorded. Unpaid compensation may suppress the facility star display by one and deprioritise the next posting. Paying the compensation stops extra deprioritisation. A nurse may cancel a booked shift at least 6 hours before start. Counsel will replace this section.
